Typical Specification & Sourcing Reference

Compare the choices that matter for your product. We turn these starting options into an itemised specification for your order.

Material & surface options
Porcelain and ceramic wall or floor tiles, selected natural stone and engineered surface options. Compare format, texture, shade variation and finish around the intended wall, floor or worktop use.
Fabrication & edge details
Cut-outs, mitred or finished edges, slab joints and layout direction are reviewed with measured drawings. Your local fitter helps confirm cutting allowances and installation details.
Suitable sourcing scale
One room, kitchen worktops, coordinated wall-and-floor areas, a villa or a repeated hotel and apartment material schedule.
Packing & production reference
Protected tile cartons and pallets, supported slabs and crating for fabricated pieces. For custom fabrication use 30–45 days as an initial planning reference after approved layouts and samples; stock selections can follow a different schedule.

What shapes your price?

A photo sets the direction. These details help turn it into a specification and a useful price range.

01

Where it will be used

Walls, floors and worktops need different details; describe each area and how it will be used when discussing surface options.

02

Format & finish

Piece sizes, surface finish and edge details influence selection and pricing, alongside the look you want across neighbouring surfaces.

03

Quantity & cutting

Area, layout and custom cuts affect quantities; involve your local fitter when planning cutting allowances, joints and any spare material.

More sourcing questions
Can I choose stone or tiles from photos alone?

Photos are useful for narrowing the direction. Discuss sample availability, finish and shade variation before confirming the order. Your local project team can help check that the selected surface suits its intended use.

How much should I order?

Share the areas, dimensions and proposed layout. Your local fitter should review the cutting allowance and any spare quantity, especially for patterned layouts or custom pieces. We use the agreed quantities when preparing the quotation.
