From Foshan to United States
What we can supply to the United States in 2026
A home should make room for the way you live. US duties on Chinese wooden kitchen cabinets and vanities are now very high. Here is what that means, and what we still supply to US homeowners, designers and hospitality projects.

The short answer
Wooden kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities made in China are subject to US anti-dumping and countervailing duties, as well as other applicable tariffs. The China-wide anti-dumping rate exceeds 250%, but separate exporter rates exist. The combined duties can make wooden cabinetry uneconomic. Stainless steel kitchens and some furniture may fall outside that wooden-cabinet order, but still carry other tariffs; ask your customs broker to confirm the construction, classification and current rates before ordering.

| Topic | What applies |
|---|---|
| Wooden cabinets & vanities | Anti-dumping and countervailing duties depend on the exporter. The China-wide anti-dumping rate exceeds 250%; separate rates exist. Section 301 may also apply. Section 232 is 25% for covered cabinets and vanities, with a rise to 50% scheduled for 1 January 2027.[1][2][4][5][6] |
| Furniture | Section 301 can apply depending on classification; Section 232 covers specified upholstered wooden seating. Wooden bedroom furniture has a separate anti-dumping order. Confirm the scope and current rates for each item.[4][6][7] |
| Composite wood | Composite wood in imported products must comply with EPA TSCA Title VI formaldehyde rules[3] |
| Next step | Ask your customs broker to confirm the HS code, scope and current rates before ordering[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] |

A few useful answers
Before we begin.
Can I import kitchen cabinets from China to the US?
Wooden kitchen cabinets and vanities from China face anti-dumping and countervailing duties, plus other applicable tariffs. The China-wide anti-dumping rate exceeds 250%, while separate exporter rates exist. The combined cost may be uneconomic; ask your broker before ordering.
Are stainless steel kitchens covered by the anti-dumping order?
The order concerns wooden cabinets and vanities. All-metal stainless steel kitchens may fall outside it, but wood components and the complete design need a scope review. Other US tariffs can apply; have your broker confirm the classification before ordering.
What about furniture?
Section 301 tariffs can apply depending on the item. Specified upholstered wooden seating is covered by Section 232, and wooden bedroom furniture has its own anti-dumping order. Your broker must confirm the rates and scope for the actual products.
Do your boards meet US formaldehyde rules?
Composite wood in products imported to the US must comply with TSCA Title VI. Confirm the documentation needed for your items before ordering.
