The short answer

A custom island is built to your room and use: working storage and appliances on one side, a seating overhang on the other, and a worktop that can wrap down the ends in a waterfall. Plan at least 900–1,000 mm of clear walkway around it, and confirm plumbing and power positions before production.

Before we begin

A few useful answers.

How much space do I need around an island?

Allow at least 900–1,000 mm of clear walkway on working sides, more if two people cook together.

Can the island include a sink or hob?

Yes. We cut and position them from your drawings. Your plumber and electrician connect them on site.

How is a large island shipped?

It ships as cabinet modules and a separately crated worktop, labelled for assembly on site.

Can I add seating on the island?

Yes. We size the overhang to your stools and leave knee space clear of storage.
